Incident: Comair CRJ1 at Buffalo on Mar 14th 2010, engine anti-ice problems

A Comair Canadair CRJ-100 on behalf of Delta Airlines, flight OH-6739/DL-6739 from New York JFK,NY to Buffalo,NY (USA) with 53 people on board, was on approach to Buffalo, when the crew asked for icing conditions along the flight path and chose the ILS approach runway 32 over RNAV approach runway 05. The airport reported so far no icing was known on the approaches, the airport itsself encountered light snowfall. Upon a pilot s report of a preceding Boeing 737 of light to moderate icing the crew declared emergency reporting a problem with the left hand engine anti-ice system. The crew continued for a safe landing on runway 32 about 10 minutes later.
