Incident: China Southern near Guangzhou on Mar 8th 2010, unruly passenger

A China Eastern Airlines Airbus A320-200, flight CZ-6745 from Sanya to Guangzhou (China), was about one hour into the flight and about to begin the descent towards Guangzhou, when a female passenger sitting next to the overwing emergency exit turned the door handle prompting cabin crew to rush towards the exit, one securing the exit and others constraining thhe passenger. The airplane continued for a safe landing in Guangzhou, where the female passenger and her companion sitting aside of her were taken into custody by police. Another passenger reported, that an announcement had just been made the airplane was going to descend for the approach to Guangzhou, when the female aged about 25 turned around the handle of the overwing emergency exit, the emergency exit light overhead the door illuminated, and flight attendants rushed towards the exit from both the front and back of the airplane. One flight attendant grabbed the handle and held it secured, while others contrained the female passenger and her companion sitting next to her. After landing all other passengers had to wait until police had escorted the pair off the airplane.
