Incident: Shuttle America E170 at Montreal on Jul 27th 2010, flaps up landing

A Shuttle American Embraer ERJ-170, registration N639RW performing flight S5-7586 from Chicago O Hare,IL (USA) to Montreal,QC (Canada) with 47 people on board, was on approach to Montreal about 60nm west of Toronto,ON when the crew received an EICAS caution message for windshield heat fail, Ground Proximity System fail, flap fail, autothrust fail, shaker anticipated, autopilot fail, angle of attack limit fail and spoiler fault. The crew was unable to deploy landing flaps, declared emergency and performed a safe flaps up landing. After an exterior inspection by emergency services the airplane taxied to the gate. The Canadian TSB reported, that maintenance replaced the right hand slat/flaps actuator control electronics unit.
