Incident: KMV Avia T154 enroute on Jul 29th 2010, attempted hijack

A KMV Avia Tupolev TU-154, flight KV-1236 from Mineralnye Vody to Moscow Domodedovo (Russia) with 98 passengers and 7 crew, was enroute when a passenger sent a note to the captain, that there was a person of interest for law enforcement on board of the aircraft. The crew radioed air traffic control and continued the flight to Domododevo Airport, where the airplane was directed to a remote, secured area. The passenger now demanded to speak to media and Mr. Putin taking the occupants of the airplane as hostages. Police forces were able to convince the man to surrender after about 2:45 hours. The responsible prosecutor s office said, they are treating the events as a hijack attempt confirming, that negotiations resulted in the passenger being detained and being handed over to law enforcement.
