Incident: Flybe DH8D near Manchester on Jul 25th 2010, engine shut down in flight

A Flybe de Havilland Dash 8-400, registration G-JEDO performing flight BE-663 from Manchester,EN to Bournemouth,EN (UK) with 40 passengers, returned to Manchester after the crew noticed some technical problems and subsequently needed to shut down an engine. The airplane landed safely. FlyBe said it was a precautionary measure following a technical issue. The flight was cancelled, the passengers were rebooked onto a flight to Southampton and bussed to Bournemouth from there.
