An Aeromar Aerospatiale ATR-42-500, registration XA-UAV performing flight VW-227 from Saltillo to Mexico City (Mexico) with 38 passengers, was climbing through FL230 when the left hand windshield cracked prompting the crew to return to Saltillo for a safe landing.
