Incident: Ryanair B738 at Brussels on Jul 24th 2010, bird strike

A Ryanair Boeing 737-800, registration EI-EFF performing flight FR-4527 from Brussels Charleroi (Belgium) to Milan Bergamo (Italy), departed Charleroi s runway 25 when the airplane ingested a bird into one of its engines resulting in some engine vibrations. The crew levelled off at 8000 feet and returned to Charleroi s runway 25 for a safe landing about 25 minutes after departure. A replacement aircraft is expected to depart Charleroi Airport with a delay of 9.5 hours.
