Incident: American Eagle E135 near Newburgh on Jul 23rd 2010, engine shut down in flight

An American Eagle Embraer ERJ-135, flight MQ-4468 from Montreal,QC (Canada) to New York La Guardia,NY (USA) with 30 passengers and 3 crew, was enroute at FL280 about 50nm north of Albany,NY (USA) when the crew reported they needed to shut an engine down due to an indication and wanted to divert to Albany. During the descent the crew decided to divert to Newburgh,NY (USA) 120nm from the point of onset of trouble and about 45nm short of La Guardia Airport. The airplane landed safely in Newburgh about 30 minutes after the onset of trouble. A replacement Embraer ERJ-135 registration N716AE reached New York with a delay of 8 hours.
