Incident: KLM Cityhopper F70 near Amsterdam on Jul 18th 2010, suspected hydraulic leak

A KLM Cityhopper Fokker 70, registration PH-KZC performing flight WA-953/KL-953 from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Newcastle,EN (UK) with 58 passengers, was climbing out of Amsterdam when the crew stopped climb at FL160 about 10 minutes into the flight and requested to return to Amsterdam reporting a possible hydraulic leak. The airplane landed safely back on Amsterdam s runway 18R about 30 minutes after departure. A replacement Fokker 70 registration PH-KZL reached Newcastle with a delay of 2:15 hours.
