Incident: Saudi B772 near Goose Bay on Jul 15th 2010, cargo fire indication

A Saudi Arabian Airlines Boeing 777-200, registration HZ-AKA performing flight SV-21 from Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) to New York JFK,NY (USA), was enroute at FL340 about 140nm northnortheast of Goose Bay,NL (Canada) when the crew received a cargo fire indication and decided to divert to Goose Bay. The airplane landed safely about 28 minutes later, emergency services did not find any trace of fire, smoke or heat. Transport Canada reported, that the luggage was offloaded. The airplane continued after about 4 hours on the ground in Goose Bay and reached New York with a total delay of 4 hours.
